E6 Storslett bridge

New E6 crossing of the Reisaelva river in central Storslett, replacing two narrow 1955 bridges: an 87-metre network arch bridge (17 m wide, 17 m high) and a 26-metre slab bridge. The main span was built on land and launched into place in November 2025.

E6 Badderen bridge

New permanent E6 bridge over the Badderelva river, replacing the 1986 bridge destroyed by the spring flood of 2022. A two-span post-tensioned concrete slab bridge designed for a 200-year flood, with a 7.5 m road and a 3 m footpath and cycle lane.

A new E45 past the avalanche-prone Kløfta gorge in Alta: about 7 km of new road with a 4.2 km tunnel, 2.2 km of open road and a 150-metre bridge over the Eibyelva river.

Cost: Cost frame of NOK 2.059 billion, set by the Storting
Construction period: The new road is expected to open in 2029

E6 Storslett bridge
