This release is about underground EL: conduit routes with owner and purpose, earthing, pull chambers inserted straight onto the route, and a library that now also has lighting foundations and cabinets.
Owner on every EL conduit. The set-up cannot be completed until every conduit has an owner, and a new route cannot be created without one.
Purpose per conduit. Choose between Fibre, Low voltage, High voltage, Tele/ecom, Signal/control, Lighting and Spare. The conduit number and a short purpose label show inside the conduits in the section.
Requirements for trenches, roads and OPI. Choose the requirement basis under EL to Requirements: NPG standard trench, NPG encased conduits, or N200 + NPG along roads.
Earthing in the cross-section. Enable one bare Cu earth conductor along the route and choose 16, 25, 35, 50 or 70 mm². The conductor keeps a fixed offset from the reference conduit and follows the bottom row of conduits.
A centreline for every EL conduit. Finished EL conduit networks automatically get their own centreline per conduit, including around diversions.
Pipe holders in OPI ducts. Switch on “Mount pipe holders” in the OPI panel; the holders adapt to the actual conduit diameters.
Insert a pull chamber on an existing route. Choose “Place in model”, point at the conduit, and the chamber is inserted with a preview.
Automatic chamber choice by terrain. “Automatic by terrain” is on by default when a new pull chamber is opened in the builder.
Lids and frames on all 14 EL chamber variants, both on a route and as a standalone chamber. Sloped tops and LED sloped chambers are included too.
Choose entry and rotation. Automatic fit, short side or long side is chosen right at the chamber selection, and the preview shows the conduit runs all the way to the entry points in the chamber wall.
Pull chamber on the map. Placed chambers show with their actual outline, rotation and point number while the route is drawn.
Conduits from other owners are routed around the chamber, and the diversion is calculated from the bend's actual tangent length, so it is shorter than before.
A chamber is rejected if both high-voltage and low-voltage conduits are to enter it, even when the owner is the same.
When “Done” is disabled, the reason now shows above the section, with a shortcut to the first conduit without an owner.
Lighting foundations and cabinets. Cabinets can be placed at a conduit end, against a wall or with two clicks, and coils are led up to the underside with a bend-radius check. The foundations come pre-classified in IFC4X3_ADD2.
Coiled conduit and fine-tuned bends. Choose Pipe type to Coil for each conduit, and use “Fine-tune radius” for a larger bend radius.
Protectline conduits and bends have more detailed geometry with smoother arcs and a rounded socket lip, and the bends are fitted the right way round in the joints.

Pipe gets a dedicated workspace with a side panel, library and a longitudinal profile in its own window, and clearer rules and colours in the 2D drawing.
The library starts with search, with side tabs for the main groups and visible filters for manufacturer and material.
Chambers and gullies are in one shared Chamber tab; loose concrete rings and chamber components are no longer shown. Gullies of the same chamber size share one card, with the outlet chosen in the detail view.
Tanks are gathered on one card per model type with volume choice, and the Hydrant tab shows hydrants and fire posts.
Automatic gully connection. Point at a free storm-water pipe end and click when the preview turns green.
Storm water shows in lime green and waste water in red, in both 2D lines and 3D system colours. SP uses a clear green.
Y-branches are drawn as three simple continuous lines, plan lines meet at branches and chamber outlets, and labels have clearer lettering.
Water chambers. Chambers are assembled from catalogue parts, and pipes are connected and edited together with the chamber.
Automatic drawing of straight pipes and coil with automatic connections and colour defaults that are remembered, with four narrow longitudinal stripes on the coil.
Stakepoints and drainage fittings. New drainage fittings, precise snapping and adjustable stakepoints.
Steep water-chamber approaches are fitted, and terrain is inferred from the drawing surfaces when needed.
A sloping VA route was rejected with four bends of 44.3° instead of the catalogue's 45°. Offsets at chambers now calculate the bend angles in 3D.
The gatebox on stop valves in sloping pipes now sits on the same axis as the valve spindle.
Chambers and pipe parts are exported as IFC 4.3 parts with more of the missing parts in place, including spindle boxes and interior previews.
VA identifiers are preserved when geometry is corrected.
VA is drawn with library models for pipes, sockets and bends, with independent pipe and chamber connections.
Chamber builder. Build complete chambers, edit parts visually and get automatic fitting to the terrain.
Trenches and insulation. Connected trench surfaces, sloped insulation and automatic frost insulation when the pipe top is above frost depth.
Longitudinal profile. Edit pipes and chambers from the profile, insert a chamber and adjust heights directly, and get a frost line and checks of slope and bend angles.
Draw in 2D or split view, with an automatic Y-branch and clearance between pipes.
Socket insertion and IFC 4.3. Pipes and chambers carry IFC properties, and socket insertion follows the catalogue.
EL module with conduits and equipment. Choose EL in the discipline selector for dedicated conduits with a choice of material, class, dimension, product and colour. Protectline bends are available in several radii.
Pull-chamber builder in the profile with 14 chamber bodies from the library, rotation and conduit height, and shared chambers for several conduits.
The EL workspace has a complete model library, conduit routing and quantities.
The EL chamber workflow has been tidied up, and VA/EL geometry is corrected during editing.
