Welded, native lines. Generated lines are native welded SketchUp curves in the current editing context, without a group or component per line. Connected pipes and bends become one curve per unbranched route, even with different IFC identities, and all source keys, IDs and IFC properties are kept. Regenerating one member rebuilds the whole route, and an incomplete attempt keeps the old output.
Queued gap review. Gaps up to the limit in Spine's Settings tab are repaired automatically when unambiguous, smooth and collision-free. The default is 50 mm, 0 disables automatic repair, and up to 500 mm is supported. Every larger gap requires its own preview and explicit approval; approvals are queued without changing the model, and «Utfør godkjente» (Execute approved) applies the queue in one undo operation and rescans the result. Closing without executing discards the queue.
Overlaps between an endpoint and a line. Unmatched ends are also checked against nearby line interiors, so a small opening with a longer terminal overlap appears in the manual review. The opening and the overlap are shown separately.
Review of excluded objects. Before generating, «Object review» lists only the objects that classification would otherwise skip. Click a row to locate the source, and include it as a pipe or manhole or exclude it. «Utelat resten» (Exclude the rest) excludes undecided objects; «Lag linjer» (Make lines) runs once all are decided. The decisions apply only to this run.
Gap curve editing and point editing. Gap curves can be edited, and welded route connections are verified.
Top points on risers. The «Top points on risers» checkbox adds one separate point at the centre of each free, upward-facing pipe opening (within 30 degrees of vertical), on the source centreline. The points are one native construction point per group on SS_Point_Groups, with the pipe's source identity and selected attributes. The option is off by default, and the result summary shows the number of top points.
Straight conduits are no longer classified as bends because of accessory metadata, such as the Revit setting Fittings/Bend, which only describes available fittings.
Fitting and rectangular centrelines are improved.
The dialogs use a fixed 460 × 600 window, and on Windows they are frameless with rounded corners and a draggable header. The progress window cannot be cancelled while the operation runs.
A shared Spine engine for background runs in Vektra. Vektra calls the same centreline engine without dialogs or model output, and the user's gap choices are preserved in Vektra's background run.
Finalisation of large centrelines is more responsive, without quadratic writes: conversion, individual repairs and native writes hand control back to the UI between work slices, and writes are checked against one shared batch snapshot.
The icon is refined to match the Pipe and Passage toolbar family.
Skala Spine 1.0.39.1029

Skala Spine: Pipe Networks and IFC naming, connected pipe routes and faster runs on large selections.
Pipe Networks. Choose the original pipe and manhole objects, generate as Pipe Networks, then select the Pipe Networks category in LX. Both extensions must be updated, and the export format is chosen in LX. Spine's output is format-neutral.
Configurable naming from IFC and custom attributes. Each pipe and manhole page has its own «Name from IFC» and «Attributes» settings. You choose IFC fields from the actual psets (with example values, coverage, search and filtering by IFC type), fields are numbered in click order, and a manual name overrides the IFC name. Attribute lists can contain IFC fields and custom key/value rows, and can be reused across categories and models.
Names from pipe type and dimension. Route names are built from the available type/material and dimensions, for example «PVC - DN160 - Senter» or «DUCT - DN110 - Senter». Unknown dimensions are shown as «DN?» instead of being invented. Repeated names get «#2», «#3» and so on.
Connected pipe routes. Connected pipes are joined into one route, while all original sources and IFC identities are retained.
Manhole endpoints and visual options. The manhole centreline can run from the underside of the base to the top of the cover, and the endpoints (line, top and bottom) can be chosen independently. You click the line or points in the preview, and the choices are saved immediately for each model.
Performance: large selections run in short work batches with at most ten progress updates per second, and wall thickness is searched only in visible geometry. Progress shows from start-up.
Bend joins are fixed, unrelated objects are filtered out, and centrelines of short pipes are recovered.
The obsolete !Arrow, ISO and IFC-properties controls are removed from the Spine dialog, and their old saved values are ignored. The format is chosen in LX.
The package is named Skala Spine (Skala_Spine_v<version>.rbz, with skala_spine.rb and skala_spine/). Restart SketchUp after upgrading; previous root entry points are backed up and disabled. Existing model settings and source identifiers remain readable.
The dialogs are aligned with the suite standard.
Skala Spine 1.0.39.1018
Released

The centrelines now inherit the pipe's name, and the centreline follows the pipe bend's own arc.
Manhole centrelines for selected manholes. The level analysis is surface-based with a circle fit, and manhole recognition has moved to a new pipe and manhole detector. Pseudo-levels from sloping or tessellated faces are filtered out, and square manholes are accepted.
!Arrow marking of feature lines. Moved from LX and placed on the Feature line row in the output dialog. !Arrow and ISO 15143-4 are mutually exclusive and reset when you switch away from Feature line.
The output dialog is redesigned, cleaner and airier, and taller without a Cancel button. «Top inside» is changed to «Top outside» (crown on the outer pipe wall). The dialogs follow Skala Manage's dark or light theme.
The tool is called Skala PCL in the title bar and menu, and has a new 32 px icon in the Skala BIM toolbar.
